Junior Structural Engineer
Assist senior engineers and principals to develop structural drawings, review contractor shop drawings, and perform assorted clerical tasks.
Qualifications:
Assist senior engineers and principals to develop structural drawings, review contractor shop drawings, and perform assorted clerical tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in structural/civil engineering.
- 0-1 years of experience in structural design engineering.
- Familiarity with ACI318 (concrete design code) and AISC LRFD and ASD (steel design codes).
- Familiarity with ASCE 7 (minimum design loads), International Building Code, and NYC Building Code.
- Strong computer skills including experience with AutoCAD and Revit Structures, Finite Element Analysis programs, RAM Advanse/Elements, RAM Structural Systems, and Bluebeam PDF Editor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well-organized and self-disciplined with good independent problem-solving skills.
